L. A. Kent

L A Kent is the pen name of Louise Harrington and Andy Sinden. Having lived in Cornwall for more than 20 years L A Kent writes not only about the dark, evil, obsessed, and sometimes plain mad and bad characters appearing on the dark side of their books, but also empathetically about the county, its people and their lifestyle.  Bring to life Cornwall and the visitors that descend from the UK, mainland Europe and further afield, even as the villains create havoc.

Prior to writing both travelled extensively in their corporate lives, spending time in many countries around the world, as well as working in most Western European countries. They lived and worked in South Africa for two years, also visiting Namibia and Zimbabwe and enjoy bringing experiences from these and other great locations to the overseas episodes in the DI Treloar crime thrillers.

Introducing maverick Cornish DI Treloar

A body is found staked out on a beach in a sleepy Cornish fishing village, its population swollen by the influx of summer visitors.

With a rising body count, escalating sexual violence, multiple suspects and no connection between the victims, Treloar is under pressure. As the police surgeon says, “psychopaths need holidays too.”

Somewhere in the village is a girl with a disturbed violent past in France, but who is she?

Then a brutal attack on one of the team changes everything and the team close in but will they be in time?
